In 1995, technology as old as the ancient Egyptians was used to help protect patients and medical professionals at the scene of the breakout of the deadly Ebola virus. Cloth tents were used in Kikwit, Zaire, by staff to change into protective clothing to treat patients during the breakout.
Today, we can use modern technology to save lives, with an emergency medical and quarantine compound of InterShelters™, which can be in place within hours and can provide features unmatched by tents.
