Military Applications
As they risk their lives protecting us, let us continue to do our job of protecting them. Intershelter™ can provide our troops with bullet resistant shelters that can be assembled in less than a few hours by just two men.
Bullet Resistant Domes
As an option, add composite armor to your Intershelter™ Dome. Composite laminate used for the Ballistic Dome Shelter (BDS) is configured in a multi-ply configuration that provides best properties when ballistically attacked. The bullets are embedded within the composite armor panels rather than ricocheted (like steel or aluminum armor would). The bullet-resistant composite armor is a fraction of the weight of steel armor for identical performance levels. Tests show that ballistic levels exceed level IIIA.
Living Quarters
One 20-foot pod can shelter up to 12 men while a compound of five shelters can accommodate 60 men with a living area between.

Portability
With the size consideration of the Intershelter™ Dome, you can ship 32 Domes covering 10,000 square feet of secure and protected living space on just one C-130 Hercules Aircraft. With a flight of six C-130’s with a flying time of 1 hour (200 miles), you can provide shelter to 768 people with medium term housing every other hour or 9200 people housed every day!
Other Military Uses
The units not only serve as personnel quarters but can serve virtually all combat and combat support shelter functions, such as:
Instant Decon and storage facilities
Ballistic paremeter military camp
